Attending the Redken Hair Exchange in NYC was absolutely amazing! Cut & Know Why is Redken's core cutting session that gives a whole new understanding to hair design with new twists on using our own creativity. I was immersed in interactive, hands-on workshops in cutting, design analysis, facial form and finishing. We explored how the elements of shape, head form and movement can help create and recreate any design. It was 4 days of intense learning!

It was such a privilege to train under Chris Baran who is known for being Redken's Global Artistic Director of Design, three time Canadian Hairdresser of the Year, the 2002 ABBIE for Best Educational Program (Ripped, Ragged, Torn Trend video), Master Hairstylist of the Year and most recently, honored with Canada's Lifetime Achievement Award.

Great Lengths utilizes 100% human hair of the best quality. This is Indian silky hair and in virgin condition. Genetically, Indian hair is very similar to Caucasian hair in its basic structure. It is of extraordinary quality since it has never been exposed to harsh chemical treatments. Indian hair is optimal for the manufacturing of hair extensions.

Great Lengths utilizes only remy hair which means that the cuticle layers are all facing the same direction from root to end and, therefore, do not tangle. This also ensures that the extensions behave exactly like your own hair, blending in superbly with yours and looking super natural!

Best Pigmentation Process
In order to obtain excellent quality without variations as well as a vast range of colors, the hair is subjected to a special process of pigmentation. When not subjected to dye or bleach, virgin hair has the same texture and quality of dark hair. The new pigment has a clean, empty space to occupy. This ensures that the molecule sits fi rmly in place and thus the color will not fade out... just like your cashmere sweater!

When wet, hair expands and when dry it contracts back to its natural state. Our keratin moves and behaves like your own hair, ensuring a gentle yet strong hold without damaging it the least.
Unlike our keratin, other polymers do not behave like human hair. This means that the bond will soon deteriorate and hair will start to fall out.

I have over 12 years experience in the Hair industry and have found that many of my clients work long hours and would love to be able to enjoy some time at their own home. Therefore, I am rebuilding my clientele (due to my recent move to CA from Denver) that requires myself to travel to you, the client, at a time that works best for you, and a location of your convenience. I will provide the equipment while you are able to relax in the privacy of your own home or your choice of location.
