Attending the Redken Hair Exchange in NYC was absolutely amazing! Cut & Know Why is Redken's core cutting session that gives a whole new understanding to hair design with new twists on using our own creativity. I was immersed in interactive, hands-on workshops in cutting, design analysis, facial form and finishing. We explored how the elements of shape, head form and movement can help create and recreate any design. It was 4 days of intense learning!It was such a privilege to train under Chris Baran who is known for being Redken's Global Artistic Director of Design, three time Canadian Hairdresser of the Year, the 2002 ABBIE for Best Educational Program (Ripped, Ragged, Torn Trend video), Master Hairstylist of the Year and most recently, honored with Canada's Lifetime Achievement Award.
